The author then tells of his walk into witchcraft while being an active member of a local church, and the spiritual conflicts he experienced through his teens and early twenties. He goes on to tell of the strategic events, brought on by the Lord, to bring him to salvation, and the molding God had to do through the years following to make him more like Christ. In the end, Donnie reveals himself to his children. It is his prayer that his boys not make the same mistakes he did along the path of life, but will, instead, follow the call of God and keep their eyes focused on Him. This story may very well serve as a teachable tool to those interested in Christian counseling and deliverance ministry.

Great book !
The Lord tells us to testify of what our Jesus has done in our lives. Rev 1211 And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony. In this book the authur did just that, he shared his testimony and he overcame the evil one. This book shows that through the darkest times in our lives, if we will call on Jesus, we will overcome. Very thankful for this mans testimony, it will give you hope in your hardest times. And since the Lord is no respector of people, the very thing he did in this mans life, He will do for us.
What an incredible story and personal testimony. It was hard to read at first, because it was so dark. Once Jason accepts Jesus as his savior, the story becomes bright with the glory of God. This book is a great reminder of how real spiritual darkness is. It is also a reminder of how important it is to stay close to God. It is hard to believe that Jason and Rose can come from such a dark background deep in the occult and later become sold out for Jesus. It encourages me to keep praying for my family members to come into a relationship with Christ.
Great story (based on true facts) for those who are Christ followers as well as those still searching & asking questions!
As I first sat down to read this, I realized there may be some parts that would make me feel uncomfortable (since I had never walked down this road) but, the title doesn't call it a walk in the park. My goal was to learn about what others may be facing as they may or may not know what they are getting sucked into. Satan is a deceiver & although we study the Word to know Truth, it's important to know where some of the "trip wires" may be. The book gives a clear picture of how someone could easily get trapped into a lifestyle they never intended to live.
In today's society where experimenting with everything out there & tolerating what everyone else is doing is the norm, this draws a line in the sand & makes you realize just how dangerous it is to play with Satan and his demons. It's NO game! Christians must be careful to discern who they are listening to & taking direction from! This book is a great conversation starter with your teens, family or friends who may think dabbling in a variety of things is harmless. Life is messy & people are worth it!
Love the way the author brings it full circle & shares about God's grace in Jason & Rose's lives!
This Book was very helpful to me when it came to spiritual warfare in my own life. Through his testimony, Donnie shares his experience to freedom through Christ. The story is very interesting and engaging, and I was asking myself, can this really happen? If you want to read a very enlightening and interesting book, this is it.
This is a very fast-paced book-- I finished it in a couple days, simply because I couldn't put it down! Anyone that has ever been exposed to ¨the dark side¨, whether by reading books, watching movies, or real life experiences, will benefit greatly from reading this book.
Unbelievable! The content scared be a bit at first, but when I realized the testimony for the Lord Jesus and the power of God's Spirit in this man's life, I was so encouraged and uplifted! Wonderful story.
