A quirky trip through the back country of New Zealand with a cast of characters living on the edge of reality.
Love this!! Such a crazy combination of wild story telling that dances on the borders of reality and makes you wonder if you've crossed them. Not for the faint of heart and not a children's book.
This is a great collection of musing and magic from New Zealand. I often can't tell what actually happened and what's imaginary, which I think makes it all true. The occasional recipe? A welcome surprise and a nice touch. I'll be eating for weeks.
